We then continue toward the majestic Ponta da Sapata, one of the island’s most impressive rock formations — a perfect spot for photos and contemplation. Shortly after, we arrive at the award-winning Sancho Beach, repeatedly voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Here, we make a special stop for a 40-minute swim, where colorful fish, sea turtles, and crystal-clear waters create the perfect scenery for snorkeling.
Before returning, we pause at the iconic Lion Rock, where the movement of the waves against the stone creates a curious sound that resembles a lion’s roar — a surprising and fascinating natural phenomenon.
